Located in Linjiang New Area, Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Lianhai Biological Technology Co., Ltd. was invested and founded jointly by Liantong Enterprise Co., Ltd., Shangyou Realty Co., Ltd. and HONG JI LIMITED in June, 2007. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development of biological science and technique, the research and development as well as production of biochemical, biological energy and biological products and the international and domestic trade of upstream and downstream products. Covering an area of 1500 mu, the factory is near Yangzi River, Highway along Yangzi River, Highway along the Sea, Ning-Qi Highway, 336 Provincial Road and Su-Tong Yangtze River Bridge. It takes one hour from Shanghai to the company and the land and water traffic is very convenient. 　　The company plans to have an annual output of butanol, acetone, ethanol of 600,000 tons, carbon dioxide of 800,000 tons, hydrogen of 20,000 tons and extension products of 300,000 tons, among which, the project of phase I, started in October 2007 and completed in September 2008, covering an area of 150 mu, is designed to have an annual output of butanol and acetone of 50,000 tons, the project of phase II will be put into production in January 2010 and the project of phase III will be started on August 2010 and put into production in June, 2011. 　　Currently the company has domestically advanced butanol, acetone and ethanol fermentation production line with an annual output of 300,000 tons, food grade carbon dioxide production line, and cassava distillers solubles feed production line with an annual output of 50,000 tons; meanwhile, the company possesses a 1000-ton chemical wharf and a 3000-ton chemical wharf, which are 2 kilometers long along the Yangzi River, as well as a 100-ton high temperature and high voltage 12MW back pressure generating unit provided with two furnaces and two generators. There are more than 200 employees, among which, 110 with bachelor's degree or above. Besides, the company has established long-term research and development relationship with Shanghai Institutes for Biological Science, CAS, and Jiangnan University and engaged several experts and professors as technical consultant.
